Irene Valentine passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, at the age of 81, surrounded by her family. Born on April 17, 1944, in Carteret, New Jersey, Irene was known for her generous spirit, superwoman strength, sly humor, and deep warmth. She always showed up for the people she loved, fiercely devoted to her family and to caring for others.
She is survived by her daughter, Robin Valentine Soares, son-in-law, Mario Soares, and her grandchildren, Lindsay Morley and husband, Robert Morley, and Nicholas Soares, along with her great-granddaughter, Maeve Soares, her whole universe. Irene is now reunited in heaven with her beloved grandson, Brandon Soares, holding him close once again.
Irene was the heart of her family - steady, loving, and endlessly giving. To know her was to feel cared for.
Above all, she will be remembered for the love she gave so freely and her strength of a bull. She will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of those who loved her.
Services and cremation will be private at the convenience of the family.
