Arthur G. Barton, 97 of Lords Valley, Pa passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025 at home with his family by his side. Arthur was a retired United Methodist Pastor who served at 10 churches in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania during his 45 years in ministry. Arthur was a founding member of the Hemlock Farms Church and a member of the Hemlock Farms community for 57 years. He was a member of the Rotary Club, an avid golfer and he loved his Mets.

The son of the late Arthur and Violet (Youngson) Barton, he was born January 25, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY.  He graduated with a BA from Brothers College of Drew University and received his Masters of Psychology from Iona College. Arthur was married to Patricia (Newton) Barton on February 18, 1984 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Arthur leaves behind his wife Patricia, four sons; Russell Barton, Kenneth Barton and his wife Melody, Matthew Barton and his wife Julie, Scott Brisendine and his wife Henny; two daughters; Lani Hoffman and her husband George, Julie Guzzo and her husband James; daughter-in-law; Tunde Brisendine; and 19 grandchildren.

Arthur was predeceased by his first wife Vera Barton; two sons Jeffrey Barton and Mark Brisendine; brother Robert Barton and sister Dorothy New.

Funeral services will be held at the Church at Hemlock Farms, 98 Willow Dr, Lords Valley, PA 18428 on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 10 AM. Burial will follow in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
