On Friday, October 17, 2025, our loving husband, father, brother, and friend, John S. Mignone, passed away unexpectedly at home with his wife by his side.

He was born on September 17, 1960, in the Bronx, NY. John was the son of Alexander and Lois (Schmidlein) Mignone. He was married for over 25 years to Nancy (Drace) Mignone, the love of his life and his greatest companion.

John was a man known for his generous heart and unwavering devotion to his family. He would give the shirt off his back for the ones he loved. He found his greatest joy in the simple things—fishing, hunting, camping, and spoiling his grandchildren. His love for the outdoors reflected his peaceful and steady spirit, and his life was a testament to kindness, loyalty, and giving.

He will be deeply missed, and his memories will be cherished forever by his beloved wife, Nancy, his children, Lisa, Casey, Lindsey, Marc, and Bruce. John’s legacy of love and strength also lives on through his cherished grandchildren Dominic, Amelia, and Luke who brought him endless pride and happiness.  

John is also survived by his father, Alex and his sisters, Jeannie, Lorin, and Allie and brothers, Paul, Anthony, and Kyle. As well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends and those he created a bond within other areas of life.

John was reunited with his beloved son Joey and mother Lois in the afterlife which we hope will be bring comfort to those mourning his passing.

A receiving of family and friends will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 3 to 5 PM at the Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford Street, Milford, Pennsylvania 18337. A Memorial service will follow at 5 PM.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made in honor of John to The American Heart Association.
