Deanna Corrine Howering, 87 of Hawley, PA and formerly of Tranquility, NJ passed away Monday, October 6, 2025 at Delaware Valley Skilled Nursing, Matamoras, Pa.

Deanna was a homemaker who enjoyed the outdoors and spent many hours tending to her flower gardens and lawn.  She was an avid stamp collector and member of the Sussex County Stamp Club, until her eyesight failed.  She was active for many years with the YAGS Club of the Tranquility United Methodist Church.

The daughter of the late Arthur P. and Harriet (Wingard) White, she was born July 25, 1938 in Rose Valley, PA. She was married to the late William Howering for 43 years.

Deanna leaves behind her son Douglas Bowser and his wife Lisa of Hawley, PA and her grandson John Bowser and his wife Marta and her great-granddaughter Zuzanna of Hawley, PA (currently serving in the US Navy in Sasebo, Japan).  Also, her brother Kenneth White of Rural Valley, PA and her sister Dixie Lee Poole and her husband Greg of Kittanning, PA and nieces and nephews.

Deanna was preceded in death by her sons Terry Bowser and Rodney Bowser and her grandson James Bowser.

Services and cremation will be private at the convenience of the family.
