Reagan Collas May was called home on October 2, 2025.
Reagan, known to most as “Reags”, was born on September 30, 2009, with a wild spirit. From her childhood Reags was a different kind of soul. As most girls were playing with dolls, Reagan was hunting, fishing and riding horses. That is where she found herself.
Reagan had a love for all things country — her cowboy boots, belt buckles, and jeans were as much a part of her as her bright smile and infectious laughter. Her adventurous spirit and fearless energy inspired those around her to live life to the fullest and to not be afraid to be different.
Reagan was a proud member of the Milford Fire Department for many years, following in her father and brother’s footsteps, and recently the Covington Township Fire Department. She loved “running hot jobs” with the Fire Departments. This was Reagan’s calling: service to others and helping those in need. Reagan found her purpose in doing so.
Reagan attended Delaware Valley School District until this past year when she enrolled in North Pocono School District. Reagan forged many friendships through being kind and showing compassion to others.
Reagan’s message, which she carried with her everyday , was “always be humble and kind”. Reagan’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her, reminding us to be kind, to laugh often, and to live boldly — just as she did.
Reagan’s memory lives on with her mother and the center of her world, Joanne Lauren May; father, Nicholas James May; brother, Rylee James May; numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends and mentors who impacted her life in so many ways.
A celebration of Reagan’s life will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, 2pm at the Milford Bible Church, 110 Foxcroft Drive, Milford, Pennsylvania 18337 .
In lieu of flowers a scholarship fund has been established in Reagan’s memory through the Scranton Area Community Foundation and through the Greater Pike Community Foundation.
