Our loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Herbert William Stewart, passed away on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Milford Senior Care and Rehabilitation Center in Milford, PA.

The son of the late Frederick and Ruth (Smith) Stewart, Herbert was born November 22, 1940, in Paterson, New Jersey.

Herbert was a proud United States Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War,  a 30 year union member of Local 373 – Plumbers & Steamfitters and member of the Apshawa Fire Department #1 for over 25 years.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Brittany DeLeeuw (Glen), Cindy Smith and Wendy VanValkenburgh; grandchildren, Dakota DeLeeuw, Austin DeLeeuw, Sydney DeLeeuw, Makayla DeLeeuw, Hannah Smith and Brandon VanValkenburgh; brother, Thomas Stewart and a host of friends.

Herbert was predeceased by his sister, Ruthann Rowe.

Cremation was privately held at the convenience of the family.
