Obituary of Marian M. Stewart

Marian Musgrave Stewart, 94, of Allentown, PA passed away on February 8, 2025. Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late John Musgrave and Doris Saurman. Marian was a graduate of George School and earned a Bachelors Degree in Art from the University of Pennsylvania.

 

In a long life, Marian had time to explore her many interests, art, theatre, education, volunteering and travel. With her husband, William of 66 years they raised two sons, welcomed a grandson, touched many lives and made lasting memories. They enjoyed spending time at their vacation home in the Poconos. Marian was an artist, a teacher, an observer, and a lifelong learner. Marian enriched the lives of others. She was a life member of Delta Gamma and AAUW, an elected school director of the Colonial School District, and an active member of St. Margarets Episcopal Church in Emmaus, PA.

 

Marian is survived by her sons, John William Stewart and life partner Anita Conley, Robert North Stewart and his wife Dori Myer Stewart; grandson Matthew William Stewart; and her brother John Musgrave and his family.

 

Services were privately held at the convenience of the family.
