It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that the family of Anthony F. Lepore (Tony) announces his unexpected passing at home in Hemlock Farms, Lords Valley, PA on Monday, August 17, 2026.

Born on March 10, 1946, in Suffern, New York, he was the son of the late Francesco and Elisabetta (Greco) Lepore. He is predeceased by his sister, Josephine (John), his brother Paul and niece Madelyn. Anthony shared a beautiful and enduring bond with his wife, Karen (Konrad) Lepore. He is survived by his nephews Frank (Mary) Lepore of New Jersey, John (JoAnne) Lepore of Florida and many beloved nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Tony graduated from Haverstraw-Stony Point High School in 1964 where his high intellect was obvious and he excelled academically. He then attended Fordham University on a full scholarship. His love of learning lead him to Hunter College for his BFA and Brooklyn College, receiving his MFA, Summa Cum Laude. Loving to converse with young people he taught Radio, Television and Film at Mt. St. Vincent College in Riverdale, NY.

Having an insatiable curiosity, Tony was a lifelong learner. He became a Reiki Master, studied sign language and photography which became his passion. Through his photography, Tony captured the beauty of people and the world with an exhibit of his work in the Valley Cottage Library in NY and many around Dover, NH where he lived for several years.

Tony loved and was loved by the members of Trinity UMC in White Plains. A man of deep faith and knowledge he was active in Bible discussions and all aspects of religion. Being part of this strong family meant the world to him.

Tony took a genuine interest in all whom he met, sharing his wit and sense of humor. He loved conversing, not only sharing his stories and thoughts but was intensely interested in others’ lives, focusing on their thoughts, beliefs and aspirations.

The family wishes to express gratitude to the caring and devoted Public Safety and EMS units who serve the Hemlock community. In appreciation of this dedication, the family request any donations be made in his name/memory to the Hemlock Farms EMS, 1053 Hemlock Farms, Lords Valley, PA 18428.

In accordance with the family's wishes, a private cremation has been held.
