Nicole Radecki, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. Her strength and resilience were evident throughout her life, having first overcome breast cancer in 2002 with remarkable determination and grace.
Born on June 22, 1939, in Paris, France, Nicole was the cherished daughter of Marc and Paule Lacor. Raised in France, she carried her elegance, warmth, and adventurous spirit throughout her life. Nicole built a career she deeply loved and took immense pride in as a pilot and flight instructor, inspiring many through her skill, confidence, and passion for aviation.
Nicole is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Robert Radecki. Together they built a loving family and a lifetime of cherished memories. She is also survived by her six children: Robert Radecki, Jr. and his wife Mary Radecki; Theresa Radecki and her husband Peter Puleo; Nicole Troisi and her husband Joseph Troisi; Joseph Radecki and his wife Marissa Radecki; Pierre Radecki and his wife Kathy Radecki; and Michelle Eichner and her husband Raymond Eichner.
Nicole is further survived by her 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy to her life. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Bea, who was a constant companion and dearly loved member of the family.
Her legacy of courage, devotion, and love will live on in all who knew and loved her. She will be remembered for her effortless quick wit that kept those around her on their toes and laughing. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
In accordance with Nicole’s wishes, a private Mass for immediate family will be held. The family is grateful for the love, prayers, and support extended during this difficult time.
